Frequently asked questions.

  • APR Care is a registered NDIS provider of care and SDA accommodation for participants of the NDIS. Our expertise lies in providing exceptional 24/7 care with a strong focus on mobility issues and complex needs. Whether you are looking for short-term accommodation, or a place to call your forever home, we have STA, MTA, SiL, and respite options available to suit your needs

  • We have several features within our properties. Click here to see more details for each site.

  • By law, an NDIS provider can only charge up to the price limit as set out in the NDIS Support Catalogue document. This document is updated yearly.

    View here: https://www.ndis.gov.au/providers/pricing-arrangements#disability-support-worker-cost-model

  • The price for services would depend on the length of time you wanted to stay, the amount of care you needed, as well as other factors (such as services required for community access)

A breakdown of prices can be found here. Alternatively, you can contact us for a tailored quote.

  • Unfortunately no. APR Care support staff will need to be utilised for daily care should you wish to move in to one of our accommodations.

  • Our support team are required to have a Blue and Yellow Card/NDIS Workers screening check while working. CPR and First Aid Response training is also a requirement. We also utilise allied health services to provide our staff with manual handling training so procedures are consistent throughout the workplace.

  • We are always up for suggestions on what we could implement to make your stay as comfortable and exciting as possible. Perhaps you like painting? Let us know, and we will find a way to have these resources available for you to utilise at our facilities (and I am sure the support staff would also benefit from some art days!)

  • Yourself, your clothes (please!), and any other essential items you’ll need! We have the basics covered, so you won’t be needing a fridge, television, washing machine or dryer!

Note: beds are available for use (subject to availability) however, we encourage you to bring your own bed if it is specific to your disability.

  • Participants that are wanting to have a permanent place at APR Care will need robust SDA (Condon accommodations) or fully accessible SDA (Rangewood accommodations) accepted within their NDIS plan.

This eligibility will not be needed if you are an NDIS participant looking for temporary accommodation (STA, Respite, MTA).

We also base our offerings on the dynamics of the current residents within that particular household as well as our support staff and their knowledge. A meet and greet will usually be set (either in person or on Zoom) so we can truly understand your needs.

  • The best thing to do is contact your Support Coordinator so they can reach out to us on your behalf (if applicable)! Otherwise, you can click here to access our enquires form
